After spending 23 years as both enlisted man and officer in the US Air Force, Walt spent 12+ years as a Business Development Director, Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President of Business Development helping three small businesses capture Federal contracts. In 2006, he started his first business, Wise Business Development which specialized in Federal Business Development services. In the fall of 2007, he started the BPI Strategy Group with Wise Business Development becoming BPIFederal supporting Federal Business Development clients.

For small businesses in the Federal market, Walt and his partner advise on all aspects Federal Business Development. We work with 8a firms, Woman-Owned businesses, those located in HUBZones and Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Veteran Owned, as well other small businesses in the Business to Government (B2G) market.

In addition, Walt works with small businesses and their Executive Teams in the Business to Business (B2B) market to develop marketing strategies, improve lead generation and manage their social media programs, all aimed at increasing revenue and profit.
